Brink 04:30
Brink There’s a voice in my head and it’s taking me over And the state that I’m in Im losing control And I’m so damn lost I sense I’m fading away Free falling through darkness all alone and so broken I’m slipping away I’m on the brink, I’m on the brink Chorus Rain down on me I’m on my knees Where are you now I can’t get out I go round and round, round and round, Round and round I walk in the shadows of the thoughts in my head I feel so alone and I’m losing control Is there anyone there I sense I’m falling apart Yet I’m still holding on with one fingertip I’m slipping away I’m on the brink, I’m on the brink Chorus Rain down on me I’m on my knees Where are you now I can’t get out I go round and round, round and round, Round and round Interlude Chorus Rain down on me I’m on my knees Where are you now I can’t get out Can you hear me calling I scream your name Where are you now I scream your name I go round and round, round and round, Round and round I go round and round, round and round, Round and round

Sound Familiar The spider in the side mirror Comes out for the morning sun The coffee in your favourite cup Spills down your brand new tie You're racing through the traffic lines And you're hitting every light The clocks says eight and you're too late But still you rush around Chorus Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar 2nd Verse The things you say you've seen before Is it really dejavou You see something and you look right back And its nowhere to be found You think you're going crazy So you keep it to yourself You hear something in another room And find there's no one home Chorus Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Extended Chorus Can you see now, see it with your own eyes We’re all the same, making the same mistakes We’re all the same, making the same mistakes Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Does it sound familiar, or vaguely similar Can you see now, see it with your own eyes We’re all the same, making the same mistakes

Night and Day Bring the morning, bring the blue sky Where were you when I cried We’re not the same, you and I Not in a good way my love I walk the streetlights, hands in my pockets You left me hanging to dry tonight You take my money, that aint right We’re like the night and day Chorus City lights you shine so bright Come alive just take me tonight Somewhere I don’t recognise Somewhere I can feel alive tonight You own the night, so you say A short skirt and a smile I don’t need you, this I know I’ll be okay my love You left me helpless, burned and broken You were nowhere in sight tonight You kept me waiting, that aint right We are the night and day Chorus City lights you shine so bright Come alive just take me tonight Somewhere I don’t recognise Somewhere I can feel alive tonight Interlude Somewhere in the atmosphere I feel your arms surround me so right Now you got me hypnotised Have you come to bring me new life Chorus City lights you shine so bright Come alive just take me tonight Somewhere I don’t recognise Somewhere I can feel alive tonight City lights you shine so bright Come alive just take me tonight Somewhere I don’t recognise Somewhere I can feel alive tonight

Counting Down the Hours 1st Verse Feels like years since I last saw you But its only been a month or two Just a phone and some pretty pictures They've kept me dreaming of you Chorus Counting down the hours Till I’m with you I’m counting down the hours Till I’m with you All dressed in a glow of white You make everything alright You’re a sight for sore eyes A sight for sore eyes 2nd Verse I get through the day it starts to rain Pour down inside my head You’re all that I can think of I’m addicted to your love Chorus Counting down the hours Till I’m with you And I won’t bring you flowers You say I’m enough All dressed in a glow of white You make everything alright You’re a sight for sore eyes A sight for sore eyes Interlude Chorus Counting down the hours Till I’m with you And I won’t bring you flowers You said I’m enough Counting down the hours Till I’m with you I’m counting down the hours Till I’m with you All dressed in a glow of white You make everything alright You’re a sight for sore eyes A sight for sore eyes

A Bridge to Burn See the flames in the distance Shining bright Breaking up the sky Is it something I said, something I did Is it life, is it in my head It’s hard, hard to see I am lost I don’t know who I am I’m holding the bridge I won’t run, I won’t hide I won’t leave my mind Chorus There's a bridge to burn now, to burn in my heart The flame’s too bright to see The bridge is blazing in the night, it’s lighting up the sky Let it all come down I walk through the fire The flames are cold I see you standing there The love in your eyes Ash at your feet, I am here On the other side Chorus There's a bridge to burn now, to burn in my heart The flame’s too bright to see The bridge is blazing in the night, it’s lighting up the sky Let it all come down I am lost, I don’t know who I am I’m holding the bridge I won’t run, I won’t hide I won’t leave my mind Middle 8 And now the flames have all died down Burnt out at your feet The bridge is still stood firm You see the wrongs of my heart Rise through the smoky air, as smoke fills up the sky Chorus There's a bridge to burn now, to burn in my heart The flame’s too bright to see The bridge is blazing in the night, it’s lighting up the sky Let it all come down, let it all come down

Boys and Girls We all need someone Makes our world go round Boy meets girl or boy or Girl meets girl We all need a little love Cos when the world gets rough We all need the love Chorus And the boys, boys, boys are out on the town And the girls, girls, girls give the runaround And the boys, boys, boys they will kiss and tell But the girls, girls, girls they don't make a sound That's the game of love, that's the game of love 2nd Verse When you’re down and out Take a look outside There's a whole wide world and… It's there for you Ready or not we need a little love Cos when the world gets rough We all need the love Chorus And the boys, boys, boys are out on the town And the girls, girls, girls give the runaround And the boys, boys, boys they will kiss and tell But the girls, girls, girls they don't make a sound That's the game of love, that's the game of love Interlude Chorus And the boys, boys, boys are out on the town And the girls, girls, girls give the runaround And the boys, boys, boys they will kiss and tell But the girls, girls, girls they don't make a sound That's the game of love, that's the game of love

Pop Star 04:44
Pop Star The bell rings, I’d run out the gate School is done for another day Then I’d get home I’d go to my room put my records on And dream away I’m up on that stage singing away And all of my problems they just drift away Then daddy says “What will you do with your life?” And this is what I said to him… Chorus I wanna be a pop star Like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and A-ha Rock it up like U2, Simple Minds, and Bon Jovi I’d write good songs and sing away Then the world would come to hear me play My pop heroes would say… “Well done boy, you’re a pop star now” I’m not good, at fitting in School is tough, what can I say It’s such a shame Listen to your heart, love's strange So real in the dark... Still haven't found what I'm looking for I put on my red shoes and dance the blues My brother says don’t you forget about me So this is what I said to him... With love, I shy away What I'd do for an uptown girl Running up that hill is all I know So, save a prayer I fade to grey You keep me hanging on, I'm all stood still I wait for the day when I'm big in Japan Then my sister says wouldn’t it be good And this is what I said to her…

The Games You Play There’s a fire in your eyes Turns grown men in to stone You’ve lost your love from him With the games you play You see you’ve thrown it all away You know you could of made things right You’ve lost your love from him With the games you play Chorus I don't really wanna run away I can't stand the games you play But the way you make me feel I just can't stay away There’s a chain around your heart You’re a prisoner to yourself You’ve lost your love from him With the games you play You seem to hide it all away The feelings that you hold inside You’ve lost your love from him With the games you play Chorus I don't really wanna run away I can't stand the games you play But the way you make me feel I just can't stay away I don't really wanna run away I can't stand the games you play But the way you make me feel I just can't stay away And you won't get very far Those walls around your heart They’ve got to tumble on down Tumble down… No, you won't get very far Those walls around your heart They’ve got to tumble on down Tumble down… Chorus I don't really wanna run away I can't stand the games you play But the way you make me feel I just can't stay away I can't stand the games you play And I don't really wanna run away But the way you make me feel I just can't stay away, Stay away

We Watched the Stars It’s the strangest thing Living in a lockdown world Who could ever have known The changes we would need to make Chorus We watched the stars as they danced Watched as they danced in the open air We don't know what we've done What we have done to hurt the world We all need to change To save our planet earth It's the hardest thing The things that we don’t say We pick ourselves apart Living in a whole new world Chorus We watched the stars as they danced Watched as they danced in the open air We don't know what we've done What we have done to hurt the world We all need to change To save our planet earth Interlude Middle 8 The empty streets, the empty highways The days they blend into one What have we done Extended Chorus We watched the stars they were dancing Watched as they danced in the open air Oh what a wonderful night Such a wonderful night, tonight Oh what a wonderful night Such a wonderful night, tonight I’m so glad it’s with you Nowhere I’d rather be We all need to change To save our planet earth
